Don Joy and Melanie Lynn are a hillbilly duet team. Don is a singer and songwriter, of traditional hillbilly music and started writing at 17. Don began singing at 10. As he grew older, he began singing in various bars and clubs.

 

A life time of music has taken him to such places as Las Vegas MGM; USA World Show Case; Ellis Island Casino; Marina Towers; Country Jubilee and various Opry Shows and venues. He has recorded 7 Cd's and we are currently working on several new duet CDs. Now they release "Wade Jackson Tribute"

 

Melanie started singing very young and has been singing in church for the past 15 years. She has been singing in public at various venues for the last 3 yrs before teaming up with myself. She grew up with traditional hillbilly music, a lifelong dream of pursuing a career in this industry. They have been performing together for a couple years and have performed in numerous places in Missouri, Arkansas, and Nashville and they stand true to their classic country roots and the traditional hillbilly sound.

In early 2016, Paul Burch & WPA Ballclub will release Meridian Rising, a musical "autobiography" of Jimmie Rodgers.  

 

Meridian Rising is an imagined musical autobiography of Jimmie Rodgers featuring the voice and 6 & 12 string guitar of Paul Burch with his WPA Ballclub along with the Meridian Rising Players. 

 

The moment he drove out of the new Holland Tunnel and saw Manhattan for the first time, he was sure his fortunes would soon make a turn for the better. From the roundabout, he merged onto Canal Street, stopping to ask the first sharp-dressed fellow he saw where he might find a top hotel near Times Square. "I'm an entertainer you see. Here’s my new record for Victor…that's me, I'm Jimmie".
