Grand Ole Opry Audience Erupts as Tony Jackson Makes his Debut

The scene at the Grand Ole Opry Saturday February 23rd was electric as ground-floor advocate, Whisperin’ Bill Anderson, presented Tony Jackson to the packed house in Nashville, TN. The audience loved him!

“Playing at the Grand Ole Opry has been a dream come true,” begins Jackson.  “It was every bit the most amazing experience I thought it would be. Long live country music,” he declared.

Jackson performed the Bill Anderson-penned, “They Lived It Up” and “The Grand Tour” for his portion of the show. When he delivered the final line of “The Grand Tour,” the audience erupted and leapt to their feet, as the former two-term, active-duty U.S. Marine stood visibly emotional and humbled within the hallowed Grand Ole Opry circle at center stage. As he attempted to leave the stage, Bill Anderson graciously welcomed Jackson back to the mic to savor the crescendo from country music’s true believers.

To date, Tony Jackson’s Facebook views exceed 63 million with over 1.2 million shares.

Tony Jackson is currently touring in support of his new single, “Country Road,” from his forthcoming spring 2019 E.P. release on DDS Entertainment/SONY – Orchard.
