Ailish McBride. "Two More Bottles Of Wine". New Official Music Video.

Ailish McBride performs "Two More Bottles Of Wine" in this video.

"Two More Bottles of Wine" is a song written by Delbert McClinton, and recorded by American country music artist Emmylou Harris. It was released in April 1978 as the first single from the album Quarter Moon in a Ten Cent Town. "Two More Bottles of Wine" topped the U.S. country singles charts.

In the song, the narrator moves with his/her lover to Los Angeles, 1,600 miles away from their home, in search of success, but the lover abruptly leaves. The narrator is then left to fend for him/herself, eventually working in a menial job "sweeping out a warehouse in West L.A.", but eventually concludes it is all right because he/she still has "two more bottles of wine".

Country music loving Ailish is the daughter of Denis and Amanda McBride and she has one sister Shauna who is a student in Galway.  She says that among her favourite singers are Caitlin, Louise Morrissey and she is also a big fan of Nathan Carter.

Ailish first took to the stage at when she was at primary school at a Christmas Concert organised by Scoil Mhuire in Creeslough.  She performed the song “The Masters Hand” on the night.  A DVD of the song was sent to her grandfather Clem Moffett who lived in the Lake District in England.  Her granddad was a great influence on Ailish and he encouraged her to record a CD which she recorded in Music Farm Studio in the Lake District. Unfortunately her grandfather who had done so much to encourage Ailish to sing passed away and never got to hear the finished product.

After this Ailish moved away from the music for a while and it was only when she was asked to join the Donegal Youth Orchestra that her interest was rekindled and the country music bug hit again. Her nana Dot Mossop from England was responsible for picking the songs which are featured on the new album.

The 12 track CD was recorded in Seamus McGees recording studio in Gweedore and as well as the title track it also features 11 other tracks by the talented Creeslough girl and Ailish says that Seamus has been a great help to her when producing the CD.

Apart from the music Ailish is also a keen horsewomen and her horse riding features in the DVD.
